Top executives reportedly leave Rivian
Several high-ranking Rivian Automotive Inc. executives have left the electric-vehicle maker recently, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday citing the company spokeswoman.
The departures include Randy Frank, the head of the body and interior engineering, and Steve Gawronski, the vice president in charge of the supply chain. Both employees left around the beginning of 2023 and followed the exit of Rivian’s head of strategy Patrick Hunt late last year.
The manufacturer delayed the plans to make electric vans in cooperation with Mercedes-Benz Vans in December, a month after it posted a $1,724 million net loss in the third quarter of the 2022 fiscal year.
