TotalEnergies' Q4 income down by 44% to €3.3B
TotalEnergies SE announced Wednesday that its net income in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2022 came in at €3.3 billion, down by 44% compared to the same period in 2021. For the full year, the company declared net income rose by 28% to €20.5 billion.
According to TotalEnergies, adjusted EBITDA in the last quarter of the year stood at €16 billion, 16% higher than in the corresponding term of 2021. Meanwhile, the same figure jumped 69%, to €71.6 billion, in 2022 as a whole. Finally, cash flow from operations fell by 52% to €5.6 billion in the three months to December 31 but climbed 56% to €47.4 billion for the year.
"While down from the previous quarter highs due to uncertainties about the demand outlook, fourth quarter oil and gas prices, as well as refining margins, remained strong in supply-constrained markets," commented the CEO of TotalEnergies, Patrick Pouyanne.
