Traffic at Frankfurt Airport resumes after alleged drones - reports

Frankfurt Airport was closed for air traffic for around 30 minutes on Friday over drone sighting claims, media reported. Some passengers on Twitter mentioned a "malfunctioning system" as the additional reason for the stoppage.

A Norwegian website Berghansen wrote that there were also "computer problems" causing some delays and cancellations.

The grounding of all planes happened between 17:16 and 17:45, according to the spokesman of the airport. The traffic resumed after the federal police confirmed that the alleged two drones were no longer in the proximity of the airport.
