Trump open to allowing Snowden's return

American President Donald Trump said he was open to allowing Edward Snowden to come back to the United States without making an arrest upon his arrival, according to The New York Post.

Formerly a Central Intelligence Agency employee, Snowden sought asylum in Russia in 2013 after he leaked classified information from the National Security Agency. "There are a lot of people that think that he is not being treated fairly," Trump told the media outlet.

"I've heard it both ways. From traitor to he's being, you know, persecuted. I've heard it both ways," he added.
