Trump pushes Abrams to give up Georgia governor race

United States President Donald Trump called out on Friday the Democratic candidate Stacey Abrams in the governor race in Georgia, as the race between her and the Republican candidate Brian Kemp goes on while the absentee and provisional votes are still being counted. "[Brian Kemp] ran a great race in Georgia- he won. It is time to move on!," Trump tweeted.

Kemp has a 62,709 vote advantage at the moment according to the Associated Press, but Abrams insists for all the votes to be counted, saying that Kemp will be pushed below 50% of the votes. Meanwhile, Kemp stepped down as Georgia secretary of state amid the state election scandal, as he declared victory against Abrams, saying his margin was "so large" making it "mathematically impossible for Stacey Abrams to win or force a run-off election." The Democratic candidate accused Kemp of trying to "force an outcome without proof."
