Trump says will not fire Kellyanne Conway

United States President Donald Trump stated on Friday that he will not fire his counselor, Kellyanne Conway, after the US Office of Special Counsel recommended that she is sacked from the White House for allegedly violating the Hatch Act with her critical statements about the Democrats. In the president's view, Conway's "freedom of speech" should be respected.

Commenting on the remarks made yesterday by House Majority leader Nancy Pelosi, Trump called her statement "fascist." When asked by a Fox News host if he would put Anthony Scaramucci as the next White House press secretary, he said: "I like him, but he should stay where he is."

"Joe Biden does not have what it takes," the commander-in-chief said of the leading Democratic contender to run against him for president next year.
