Trump still considering 'all options' for Venezuela

United States President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he is still considering "all options" to deal with the crisis in Venezuela. "I think there are a number of solutions," the US president said during a meeting with his Colombian counterpart Ivan Duque. His comments come shortly after Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Eliot Engel insisted that Congress would not support a US military intervention in Venezuela.

Trump also claimed that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro made a "terrible mistake" when he decided to prevent US humanitarian aid from coming to the South American country as its people are "starving."

Earlier, Maduro claimed that Venezuela does not need foreign aid as it "has the capacity to satisfy all the necessities" of its people. Meanwhile, the country's opposition leader and self-proclaimed interim president, Juan Guaido, said the US humanitarian aid will be delivered to the South American country by February 23.
