Trump suggests Dems guilty for stock market decline

Asked about the decline stock markets in the United States saw in the past couple of days, President Donald Trump suggested that investors might have been spooked by the possibility of electing a Democratic candidate upon seeing their performance in the Democratic debate on Tuesday night.

And "maybe they took a hit because of supply chains" disruptions caused by the outbreak of the disease in China, he stressed citing a second potential reason for the market decline, before he predicted another "stock market boom."

Dispersing any doubts that the US economy might suffer due to the epidemic, Trump said the domestic economy is doing great thanks to "strong and powerful" American consumers.
