Trump to GM: Reopen factory in Ohio

United States President Donald Trump called upon General Motors to reopen their factory in Ohio, because "the economy is so good" and Toyota and others are investing billions in the US.

"Because the economy is so good, General Motors must get their Lordstown, Ohio, plant open, maybe in a different form or with a new owner, FAST! Toyota is investing 13.5 $Billion in US, others likewise. G.M. MUST ACT QUICKLY. Time is of the essence!" Trump tweeted.

The Japanese carmaker announced earlier it will invest up to $13 billion in the US by 2021. Last year, General Motors announced the closure of several of its plants in the US and Canada due to a decrease in production.
