Trump: Turkey acted very badly, won't tolerate its behavior

United States President Donald Trump slammed Turkey on Friday over its continued detainment of American pastor Andrew Brunson, stating that Ankara is "acting very, very badly" as relations between the two countries continue to deteriorate. "We're not going to take it sitting down," he underscored. Earlier, US Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said that Washington is ready to impose further sanctions if Turkey fails to release Brunson.

Speaking just before boarding Marine One, Trump told reporters that Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who is heading the Russia investigation, has a "lot of conflicts," including the fact that former FBI Director James Comey is his "best friend." "The Mueller probe is a rigged witch hunt," he reiterated, before adding that Democrats should be investigated for colluding with Russian officials instead of him.
