Trump: US shouldn't send 'very much' to Kiev
Former United States President Donald Trump stated on Thursday that Washington should concentrate on fostering peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, not on further increasing military aid.
Asked in an interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt whether the US should provide F-16 aircraft to Kiev, Trump stated: "I think the United States should negotiate peace between these two countries, and I don’t think they should be sending very much."
The former leader repeated that the Ukrainian crisis would have never happened if he was still president, stressing that "this thing [conflict] has to stop, and it’s got to stop now. And it’s not going to stop if we continue to just load something up."
