Trump wants 'reciprocal' trade relationships - Pence

United States President Donald Trump is looking for "reciprocal" relationships with other countries regarding trade, Vice President Mike Pence (pictured) told Fox Business News on Tuesday, adding the president is willing to use tariffs and access to the US economy as he negotiates the "range" of trade agreements.

Commenting on China, Pence said Trump will continue making clear Beijing must open up its market and not "take advantage" of the US. In addition, Pence stated the Hong Kong issue must be solved peacefully.

Earlier today, Trump asserted there was "no deadline" for a trade deal with China, claiming it would be better to wait after the presidential elections to sign the agreement.
