Trump's threats sign of fear - N. Korea official

Vice-Chairman of North Korea's Workers' Party Ri Su Yong (pictured) warned on Monday of "catastrophic consequences" unless US President Donald Trump "thinks twice" about his words of which he said are a "sign of fear" despite being conveyed as threats. According to the country's central news agency, the official also claimed Trump is "very anxious" to know what Pyongyang is "thinking of now," given the stalled denuclearization talks.

In the latest showing of nuclear might, North Korea launched an unidentified missile into the Sea of Japan in late November and shortly thereafter warned Tokyo that it may launch a "real ballistic missile" in the near future. Meanwhile, reports have indicated that the country might increase its missile launching activity in an attempt to exert pressure on Trump.
