Twitter allowed China to spread misinformation on pandemic - McEnany

Twitter allowed Chinese officials to spread misinformation on the coronavirus outbreak without applying its fact-checking policy, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany (pictured) said on Thursday at a press briefing in Washington, accusing the social network platform of creating a search engine for the Chinese Communist Party that was used for "blacklisting and easy tracking" religious minorities in that country.

The secretary added the Big Tech companies are targeting the president and his administration, claiming they have "political bias against Trump and Conservatives online."

McEnany warned that Trump intends to take action against tech companies for "unbelievable interventions by Twitter against the president and his closest aides."
