Twitter head of brand safety is said to be leaving

Twitter Inc.'s Head of Brand Safety and Ad Quality A.J. Brown will leave the social media company, The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing unnamed sources with knowledge of the matter.

On Thursday, Ella Irwin, the company's head of trust and safety, reportedly also stepped down and left Twitter.

In 2021, the last full year before billionaire Elon Musk bought the firm, advertising made up almost 90% of Twitter's revenue, but its advertising unit has seen an "exodus" since the takeover, according to the report.
