Twitter to start paying creators for ads in replies soon
Twitter Inc. is about to start giving money to verified content creators for advertisements in their responses, with the initial sum being roughly $5 million, the company's billionaire owner Elon Musk revealed.
"Note, the creator must be verified and only ads served to verified users count," Musk explained. The social giant announced it will share ad revenue with creators for ads that appear in their reply threads in February.
