UK: Russia suffered 300 casualties in 1 strike in January

The British Ministry of Defense said on Saturday said that the January 1 strike on a soldier accommodation at Makiivka near Donetsk City very likely resulted in more than 300 casualties for Russia.

"We assess that the majority were likely killed or missing, rather than wounded," the ministry stated, denying the Russian declaration that it sustained 89 fatalities in the attack. "The difference between the number of casualties Russia acknowledged and the likely true total highlights the pervasive presence of disinformation in Russian public announcements," according to the UK.
