UK's Flybe cancels all flights, ceases trading
British regional airline Flybe announced on Saturday that it has halted trading and revoked all scheduled flights from and to the United Kingdom. Flybe has been placed into administration nearly three years after filing for administration and ceasing all operations amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
"Flybe has now ceased trading and all flights from and to the UK operated by Flybe have been canceled and will not be rescheduled. If you are due to fly with Flybe today or in the future, please DO NOT TRAVEL TO THE AIRPORT unless you have arranged an alternative flight with another airline," Flybe said on its website.
Flybe was a British airline based in England that was the largest independent regional airline in Europe until it was sold to Connect Airways in 2019. The airline was launched in 1979.
