Ukraine asks UK for long-range missiles - Ukrainian MP

Ukrainian parliament member Kira Rudyk told Sky News on Sunday Kiev had asked United Kingdom's defense select committee for long-range missiles to help the country fight off Russian advances in the east.

Rudyk also noted that the exports of grain, corn, tomatoes and sunflower oil are being held up in Ukraine due to Russia's blockade of the Odessa shipping port. "The world only has 10 weeks supplies of grains, 10 weeks for all the politicians and leaders of the world to figure how they will get it out of Ukraine," she asserted, calling for a humanitarian mission to extract the produce.

The MP went on to urge the government in London to provide visa papers to Ukrainian citizens, pointing out that the United States and Canada have already done so.
