Ukraine reports power outages due to missile attack

The energy infrastructure in Ukraine's western and central regions was damaged by a missile attack, according to National Power Company Ukrenergo report on Thursday. This led to partial blackouts in Rivne, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions.

The operation of the main networks in the region was restored, and household consumers were receiving power from local power distribution companies. Due to hostilities and other factors, 398 settlements still lack electricity.

Furthermore, the document highlights it is premature to make definitive assessments regarding the initiation of "a new terrorist campaign against civilian infrastructure."
