Unilever's Q1 turnover up 11.8% to €13.8B
Unilever plc said on Thursday that its turnover in the opening quarter of fiscal 2022 stood at €13.8 billion, increasing 11.8% compared to the same trimester in 2021.
Underlying sales growth in the three-month period stood at 7.3%, while the quarterly dividend remained unchanged at €0.4268 per share.
"This period of unprecedented inflation requires us to take further pricing action with some impact on volume as a result. We now expect underlying sales growth in 2022 to be towards the top end of the previously guided range of 4.5% to 6.5%," the company said.
