United Airlines says all its US flights grounded
United Airlines Holding Inc. grounded all of its flights in the United States on Wednesday after Federal Aviation Administration reported a failure of a crucial alert system across the country.
"United has temporarily delayed all domestic flights and will issue an update when we learn more from the FAA," the air carrier announced on its Twitter account.
FAA has since updated the outage status, stating that it is "performing final validation checks and reloading the system now."
