Unvaccinated staff banned from Morgan Stanley office - report

Morgan Stanley Investment banking company sent out a memo to its employees on Tuesday announcing that unvaccinated staff members and clients will not be allowed to enter the New York and Westchester offices, Financial Times reported citing the revealed memo.

Signed by the chief human resources officer the new rule will come into effect July 12, after which those who did not prove their vaccinated status against the COVID-19 virus will lose access to the buildings. The bank had already introduced "vaccine-only" workspaces across some departments.

Earlier, the White House confirmed it won't achieve the government's goal of getting 70% of adults in the United States vaccinated by Independence Day on July 4th. The target of 160 million fully inoculated Americans will be pushed to mid-July.
