US higher premarket ahead of GDP, jobs data

Shares on the major stock market indexes in the United States traded with gains in the premarket on Thursday as the investors anticipated economic reports.

The country's Bureau of Economic Analysis is scheduled to release its second gross domestic product estimate for the opening quarter of the year, and the US Department of Labor will unveil the weekly initial jobless claims figure.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.31%, or 99 points, at 4:11 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 moved up by 0.07% at the same time. The S&P 500 concurrently rose by 0.24%. The euro was little changed against the dollar a minute later, selling for 1.06815.
