US higher premarket ahead of inflation data

Equities on Wall Street were higher in the premarket session on Friday, as traders waited for the next round of economic data to give a clue on the state of inflation in the United States. Data related to personal spending in May is slated to be released before markets open, while the consumer sentiment index for June will be unveiled after the bell rings.

The Dow Jones increased 0.27% at 4:18 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 gained 0.10% at the same time. The S&P 500 traded 0.11% higher at 4:19 am ET.

The euro was up 0.13% against the dollar trading for $1.19471 at 4:20 am ET.
