US little changed in premarket after rally

Shares on the major stock market were mostly subdued in the premarket on Friday after a strong performance the day before. Shortly after the close, both the House of Representatives and the Senate passed a stopgap funding bill to avert a government shutdown.

On the data front, the investors awaited reports on the country's services sector activity and the unemployment rate.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.09% at 4:16 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 concurrently slid 0.06%. The S&P 500 stood flat at the same time. The euro was unchanged versus the dollar at 4:19 am ET, selling for 1.12930.
