US lower in premarket ahead of data

Equities in the United States traded lower on Friday ahead of the release of the country's latest results in nonfarm payrolls and trade balance. Meanwhile, the Congressional Budget Office forecast the US' federal debt would grow to 102% of the gross domestic product in 2021. In the meantime, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer urged the upper chamber to finally approve the stimulus aimed at combating the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average traded 0.53% lower at 4:30 am ET. At the same time, the Nasdaq 100 declined by 0.60%, while the S&P 500 went down by 0.50%.

The euro lost 0.37% to the dollar to sell for $1.19258 at 4:28 am ET.
