US lower premarket after Fed rate decision

Major indexes in the United States traded lower in Thursday's premarket session as investors digested the Federal Reserve's decision to keep interest rates unchanged. In addition, the Fed revised upward its projection for interest rate movement over the coming year, revealing that it expects rates to stand between 5% and 5.25% by the end of 2024.

The Dow Jones lost 0.18% at 4:21 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 fell 0.42%, while the S&P 500 declined 0.32%.

The euro was flat against the dollar at 4:21 am ET, selling for $1.06607.
