US lower premarket after yesterday's selloff

Major stock markets in the United States traded lower in the premarket session on Friday continuing the negative trend after closing in the red territory a day before on news about further interest rate hikes and other economic woes.

The country will publish its personal spending data for August during the day, while the University of Michigan is expected to announce more information on consumer sentiment in the country for September.

Earlier in the morning on Friday, the Dow Jones lost 106 points or 0.36%, the Nasdaq 100 fell 0.26%, while the S&P 500 declined 0.25%. The euro improved by 0.23% against the dollar at 4:29 pm ET, selling for $0.98385.
