US lower premarket, House vote on debt limit pending
Major United States stock indexes traded lower in the premarket on Wednesday as investors awaited the final outcome of the debt ceiling saga, with the House of Representatives expected to vote on the bill later in the day.
Meanwhile, on the agenda today is also the Federal Reserve's Beige Book, which will give more insights into the current state of the country's economy, alongside data on the US job openings and mortgage applications.
The Dow Jones lost 0.27% at 4:13 am ET. At the same time, the Nasdaq 100 fell 0.25% and the S&P 500 decreased 0.26%. The euro was down 0.61% against the dollar at 4:14 am ET to sell for 1.06686, reaching a new low since late March.
