US markets mostly higher at open as bull market is back

Major United States equity markets opened mostly higher on Friday after the S&P 500 logged yesterday its highest close of the year. In the previous session, the index closed 20% above its low from last October to enter a bull market.

During premarket trading, shares of Tesla and GM jumped more than 5% after yesterday's report that GM will use Tesla's NACS charging system from 2025. Meanwhile, Adobe added to previous gains after Wells Fargo upgraded its price target to $525 from $420.

The Dow Jones lost 0.09% at 9:30 am ET, with Walgreens Boots sinking 2.13%. However, the Nasdaq 100 added 0.47%, and Airbnb was leading the gains, improving by 5.26%. The S&P 500 rose 0.20%, as Tesla increased by 5.08%, and was on track to match an 11-day record winning streak.

The euro was down by 0.15% against the dollar at 9:28 am ET, selling for $1.07664.
