US mostly down premarket amid climate change talks

Shares on the major stock market indexes in the United States traded mostly lower in the premarket on Monday, with climate change talks dominating the weekend.

US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry met with his Chinese counterpart to discuss climate change over the weekend as the countries stated they will cooperate on the issue, with Kerry apologizing for the previous administration's disregard of the occurrence.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.20% at 4:31 am ET, with the Nasdaq 100 trading flat at the same time. The S&P 500 declined 0.13% a minute later. The euro was up 0.35% against the dollar, going for 1.20248 at 4:33 am ET.
