US mostly up premarket ahead of earnings, data

Stocks on Wall Street traded mostly higher ahead of Thursday's session with another batch of major corporate earnings and economic data set for release later during the day.

Prior to the opening bell, investors will be able to check out the latest releases on the United States gross domestic product and initial jobless claims, while the pending home sales report will be released just after markets open in New York. Meanwhile, businesses will report their economic results for the second quarter of 2021, including Amazon, which will post its figures after the closing bell.

The Dow Jones gained 0.31% or 108 points at 4:06 am ET, while the S&P 500 rose 0.11%. The Nasdaq 100 stood flat at the same time. The euro increased by 0.19% compared to the dollar to sell for 1.18668 a minute later.
