US muted premarket after House debt bill approval

Indexes on Wall Street were mostly flat in premarket trading on Thursday after the United States House of Representatives adopted the provisional deal on the debt limit in a move praised by both President Joe Biden and Speaker Kevin McCarthy. On the data front, the country will release several employment reports during the day, including the initial jobless claims figures, as well as two updates on the US manufacturing sector.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Nasdaq 100 were both flat at 4:10 am ET, while the S&P 500 added 0.14% at the same time. The euro lost 0.19% against the dollar to go for 1.06701 at 4:11 am ET.
