US shares fall in premarket trading

Shares on Wall Street moved in negative territory during premarket trading on Thursday. Investors were set for more jobs data as they awaited initial jobless claims for last week.

During the previous session, stocks surged with the S&P 500 closing just below a new record despite ongoing efforts to containing the coronavirus pandemic in the United States.

The Dow Jones declined 0.26%, the S&P 500 was down 0.27%, while the Nasdaq 100 fell 0.40%, all at 4:25 am ET. The euro advanced 0.36% against the dollar at 4:27 am ET, buying 1.18275.
