US stocks rise during premarket trade

United States stocks recorded gains during the premarket trade on Thursday, as the high-level trade negotiations between two largest world economies continue. Both sides decline to provide more than vague yet optimistic comments on their progress or current results. President Donald Trump is reportedly considering the extension the previously announced deadline for the ramping of US tariffs on Chinese goods by 60 days.

The Dow Jones was trading 0.15% higher at 4:27 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 added 0.36% in premarket trading. At the same time, the S&P 500 gained 0.20% before the opening bell.

The euro was trading flat against the dollar, gaining 0.02% to sell for 1.1265 at 4:29 am ET. Meanwhile, British pound slipped 0.11% against the greenback, trading for 1.2834.
