US surges premarket, Dow jumps over 300 pts

Shares on Wall Street traded higher premarket on Tuesday following yesterday's selloff. In business, media reported MUFG will sell its subsidiary Union Bank to US Bancorp for $7.3 billion. Meanwhile, House Speaker Pelosi said that both chambers of Congress will vote on the same spending package, while Minority Leader McConnell asserted that Dems will have to increase the country's debt limit alone.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 0.99% at 4:25 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 gained 0.92%. The S&P 500 increased 0.97% concurrently.

The euro was flat against the greenback at 4:25 am ET, changing hands for $1.17304.
