US to provide Kiev with air defense systems, Biden confirms
United States President Joe Biden vowed on Monday that Washington will provide Ukraine with advanced air defense systems, among other forms of "support" Kiev needs to "defend itself."
Per a statement published by the White House, Biden told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that he condemned today's missile attacks against Ukraine by Russia and said the US will keep working to provide more "security, economic, and humanitarian assistance" to Kiev.
Zelensky revealed earlier in the day that he and Biden discussed the matter of air defense, "the number 1 priority" in the military partnership between the two governments.
