US Treasury yields down ahead of Fed speeches
United States Treasury yields decreased on Tuesday as investors looked ahead to remarks several senior Federal Reserve officials will make later in the day to provide more insight into what their next monetary policy moves will look like. In addition, job openings and factory orders data will be released shortly after the US stock markets open.
The return on the 10-year Treasury note was down 8.3 basis points to 3.564% at 3:38 am ET. The yield on the two-year note fell by 10.3 basis points to 4.002% at the same time and the return on the 30-year bond lost 6.5 basis points to 3.642% at 3:39 am ET.
