US turns to losses premarket after trade deficit report
Major US stock indexes surrendered gains in Tuesday's premarket session following the Bureau of Economic Analysis and the Census Bureau joint final report for December which revealed that the US trade deficit jumped by $6.4 billion.
The Dow Jones was down 0.34% or 112 points at 8:48 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 was flat, and the S&P 500 decreased by 0.15%.
A minute later, the euro went down 0.29% against the dollar, changing hands for $1.06984.
