US: Ukraine using Patriot systems quite effectively
Ukraine is using Patriot air defense systems "quite effectively," United States National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby said on Wednesday.
Speaking at a press briefing, the White House official revealed that the next, the 39th in total, package of military equipment the US will send to Ukraine will include munitions for Patriot systems.
The package will include other air defense systems, as well as more ammunition for HIMARS artillery and anti-armor systems, according to Kirby.
