Vaccine would be ultimate solution to coronavirus - Fauci
United States National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci stated on Wednesday that the only "ultimate solution" for the coronavirus would be a vaccine.
Fauci stressed that the social distancing measures and travel restrictions could help curb the outbreak but warned they can't last forever and, since the virus might come back, only a vaccine could help in the long run.
The official added that researchers a "right on target" for the development of the vaccine which is expected to be ready in a year to a year and a half.
