Varengold offers its customers and business partners a variety of products and services within the business areas Capital Markets, Commercial Banking and Capital Markets Brokerage. Varengold was founded as an asset management boutique in the year 1995 seeking to offer individual and high-performing financial products. Following its great success in Asset Management, the bank extended its business in 1998 to include Capital Markets Brokerage. Customers receive access to the world-renowned trading platform MetaTrader and are able to trade in forex, CFDs and commodities on a single account. With the receipt of the commercial banking license in 2013 the business area Commercial Banking was established and affects further synergies with the already existing business areas. Varengold Bank AG is registered with the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) under number 109 520/100 and has been listed on the Entry Standard of Deutsche Börse in Frankfurt since the 20th of March 2007 (ISIN DE0005479307, WKN 547930). Varengold Bank AG is also connected to the Compensatory Fund of German Banks (EdB).
