Wall Street closes higher with focus still on Fed
Stocks on United States markets were higher at the close on Thursday as investors analyzed the latest actions and remarks by the Federal Reserve in an attempt to determine where the central bank plans to move when it comes to monetary policy.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average index closed with a 0.23% gain as Intel rose by 3.20%. The Nasdaq 100 increased by 1.29% at the close and the S&P 500 was up 0.29% and both indexes were pulled up by Netflix's 9.01% jump.
The euro was 0.13% lower compared to the dollar, going for 1.08400 at 3:59 pm ET.
