WH anticipates changes to infrastructure bill

United States National Economic Council Director and White House advisor Brian Deese (pictured) stated on Tuesday that he believes that some modifications to the current version of the bipartisan infrastructure bill will happen.

In an interview with CNBC, Deese asserted that he is confident the infrastructure deal will be done soon, adding that he is optimistic about the bill and that it is a "big opportunity" for the country, echoing previous comments from the White House. He also noted that the country is experiencing "historic" economic growth.

Lastly, Deese also commented on the issues with supply chains, saying that the focus of the administration is on "unclogging the bottlenecks" and boosting the domestic supply capacity to avert such problems from happening in the future.
