WH: Democrats failed hardest-hit US citizens

The Democratic Party failed to act in the best interest of the United States citizens, amid the coronavirus pandemic, and forced US president to sign the executive orders on the COVID-19 relief package, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany (pictured) said on Monday.

"Democrats and Congress failed to act in the best interest of the Americans hardest hit by this pandemic. Amid inaction, President Trump stood for every American who, through no fault of their own, needed relief," McEnany said.

Trump's action was criticized earlier by the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who said the executive orders are "weak" and called them an "illusion."
