WH: No indication Russia moved weapons to Belarus
United States National Security Council's Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby on Sunday said there is currently no evidence that Russia transported any nuclear weapons to Belarus.
"We have not seen any indication that he (Russian President Vladimir Putin) has made good on this pledge," Kirby told CBS News.
His comments come after Putin on Saturday promised Russia will station its tactical nuclear weapons in the neighboring nation.
