Yerevan, Baku make progress in talks in Russia

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan (pictured right) and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev (pictured left) made progress on border-related issues during discussions in Sochi on Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin, who also took part in the meeting, revealed on Friday.

Yerevan and Baku agreed to establish a mechanism for demarcation and delimitation of the border between the two countries before the end of 2021, with Russia remaining involved in the deal.

According to Putin, the other two leaders also made progress on resolving humanitarian and economic issues in the regions of Nagorno-Karabakh and the South Caucasus.
