Zanganeh: US failed to cut Iranian oil exports to zero

Iranian Petroleum Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh (pictured) noted on Friday the United States administration led by former President Donald Trump tried but failed to cut Tehran's crude oil exports "to zero."

Zanganeh underlined the country's success in manufacturing and exporting oil products, adding the activity could hit its "historical record" soon despite Washington's sanctions. He added new investments in the sector would be the "main stimulus" to enhance its growth.

Earlier this week, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani welcomed Trump leaving the White House and urged the new administration to lift the sanctions on the Middle Eastern country.
