Zelensky talks Russian armed groups with Sudan's military leader
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed an impromptu meeting with Sudan's Sovereign Council head, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and that the two discussed security challenges posed by Russia-funded armed groups.
The Ukrainian leader expressed gratitude to Sudan for its support of Ukraine's territorial integrity.
The news comes after the West raised concerns about the presence of the Wagner mercenary group in Sudan, which the group denied.
